Tom Keneally joins us to celebrate his 50th year as a published writer and the third anniversary of opening of the Tom Keneally Centre — talking about his writing, his research and his life.
If you missed the Sydney Writers’ Festival event and the gala dinner, don’t miss this!.
Opened in 2011, the Tom Keneally Centre is a cultural hub, containing Tom Keneally’s collection of books used to research and write his books — his living legacy to Australia. It is open as a drop-in centre every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30am – 12:30pm, and is the venue for author talks, writing master classes and other literary events.
To celebrate these significant anniversaries, SMSA is pleased to annouce that members can now borrow from the Tom Keneally Centre collection.
NB: This lecture will be held in the Mitchell Theatre due to the anticipated popularity of the event.
