Sometimes it takes a dramatic event to wake us up and set us on the right path, and that is what happened to Annandale author, Sue Liu.
In the wake of the devastating 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, Sue found herself rolling up her sleeves and to volunteering to become an Accidental Aid Worker. This experience was the catalyst for the next 12 years of her life, working with displaced refugees and more recently, spending her time helping Sydney homeless communities.
Accidental Aid Worker is a true story of self-discovery and personal determination in the wake of a horrendous natural disaster.
