Join photographer Russell Workman for a fascinating talk on heritage photography around Sydney’s suburbs.
Russell will share photographs from his ongoing ‘Shoptops’ project that features the facades of suburban shops circa. 1870 to 1930.
This significant project has been funded by several grants from the Royal Australian Historical Society and covers virtually every suburb of Sydney’s inner-west, capturing a slice of history that many of us don’t ever take the time to notice.
As Russell says, it’s astounding what you see if you only you look up once in a while!
