Mental Health Month encourages all of us to think about our mental health and wellbeing, regardless of whether we may have a lived experience of mental illness or not. It also gives us the opportunity to understand the importance of mental health in our everyday lives and seek help when needed.
A Peer Ambassador with SANE will share her lived experience of Bipolar Disorder and promotes mental health advocacy for people with complex mental conditions.
She will talk about the reduction of stigma, suicide prevention and building resilience, in order to help others develop an greater understanding of mental health issues and encourage more people to feel safe to reach out for help.
We invite anyone who wants to learn more about mental health, lived experience of mental illness and reduction of stigma to attend this talk.
