Enjoy a special cruise on the historical Hawkesbury with fish and chips, tea, wine and entertainment to celebrate the book launch of Ann Howard’s Rainbow on the River and Derrymachash to Dangar books, filled with new stories of the history of the River.

Arrangements

SMSA members will meet at Hawkesbury River Station by 11am, in order to leave from Brooklyn Wharf at 11:30am. NB: Members to make their own way to and from Hawkesbury River Station.

At the end of the cruise, you have a choice. Either

Disembark at Brooklyn Wharf at approx. 2pm OR
Continue on to Dangar Island to visit Ann’s restored home, The Pavillion.

If you choose to go on to Dangar Island, ferries are available back to the mainland until 6:30pm.

Due to circumstances beyond SMSA’s control, this members’ outing has been CANCELLED.

The Library is in the process of contacting people who have booked, and we will be refunding any money that has been paid.

We may re-run this cruise at a future date. If you are interested, please let the Library know.

$45 per person / $40 concession.
