The Annual General Meeting of the Sydney Mechanics’ School of Arts will be held in the Mitchell Theatre on Level 1, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney on Tuesday, 20 March 2018, commencing at 12:30pm. A light luncheon will be served from 11:45am.
Members desiring to bring any business before the Annual General Meeting must give notice in writing of that business to the Secretary by the close of business, Tuesday, 6 March 2018. The notice must be signed by not less than three members qualified to vote.
Nominations for the election of five (5) directors will open on Monday, 29 January 2018 at 12:30pm and close on Thursday, 8 March 2018 at 5:00pm. Nomination Forms will be available from the SMSA Library, on the SMSA website (smsa.org.au) or on request from the Secretary.
NB: The Nomination Form (inc. Declaration of interest) may also be completed online.

An information session for potential candidates will be held on Thursday, 8 February 2018 at 5.30pm. Please register your interest in attending this session with the Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In accordance with the By-laws (2016), pre-polling will commence on Tuesday, 13 March 2018 at 12:30pm and will close on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 at 12:45pm, being 15 minutes after the scheduled commencement time of the AGM.
