Anyone with an interest in Australia’s culture or history will be familiar with Trove, run by the National Library of Australia.

According to The Conversation, as of February 2016, the metadata and content held within it included “information on over 374,419,217 books, articles, images, historic newspapers, maps, music, archives, datasets and more, expressing the extraordinarily rich history of Australian culture.”

But Trove is under threat with staff cuts and an “efficiency dividend” that will cripple it.

Please sign the petition in the link below and consider sharing it on Facebook and Twitter to show your support for funding the unique public access resource provided by Trove.
